An Afternoon at the Fillmore Jazz Festival 

Went to the Fillmore Jazz Festival yesterday. Besides enjoying the music and crowds! also saw about 15 booths of photographs by various photographers. I had no idea there would be so many there.

Some of note include Chris Honeysett (who I've me before; he does beautiful b&w landscapes and still lifes); Alan Babbitt (who had some fun images of the Santa Cruz Boardwalk which I appreciated); Craig Kohler (who is starting a home furnishings store together with a photo gallery at 1711 Greenwich Steet - opening next weekend, I believe); Chris Doner (who had nice b&w images from around the world); Craig Fonarow (whose image, Rock Museum, Jay bought for his studio); and Robert Kawika (who does long exposure night photography with shadows of himself in them - very quirky & humorous). These are just the people I spoke with.

It was a fun day...
